Rational Gold dealers were treated to a go-karting challenge at the end of their first day’s training.

The inaugural training sessions for Rational’s new Deal loyalty programme took place last month at the combi oven manufacturer’s UK head office in Luton. Rational Gold Deal dealers received their training on two consecutive days, followed by a day of Silver Deal dealer training.

The Deal tailor-made dealer training programmes are designed to enhance dealers’ product and technical knowledge for both the VarioCookingCenter and the SelfCookingCenter.

Last month’s training, led and hosted by Graham Kille, technical sales director, Rational UK, covered an array of subjects, including; application updates, cooking presentations, ConnectedCooking the future, Rational-Portal and design/CAD information, service and unit installation, energy efficiency and modern kitchen design.

Following their first day’s training, the Gold dealers competed in a ‘Gold Go-Karting Challenge’.

Dealers found the training very beneficial. Ian Manson, sales director, Stephens Catering Equipment said: “Overall the training programme was a good experience; with Graham and his team sharing their expertise and knowledge on all things Rational. ConnectedCooking is the way of the future, having gained further training I now realise how easy it is for our customers to use.”

He continued: “I would like to thank everyone at Rational for their fantastic hospitality over the two days.”

Additional Deal dealer training programmes are planned for this year.
