Rational has returned to sponsor the Catering Insight Awards’ Distributor of the Year – Nationwide category for an incredible seventh time.
The cooking equipment manufacturer has supported the headline honour since Catering Insight’s gala celebration began in 2015. The special trophy will recognise a major distributor which has completed mammoth commercial kitchen projects to a high standard, up and down the country, while still offering a personalised, sterling service, despite the challenges coronavirus has generated.
The winner will be announced at this year’s spectacular awards ceremony, which will take place at 8 Northumberland Avenue in central London on Thursday 18 November.
Rational UK’s technical sales director Graham Kille underlined: “Like many manufacturers, Rational relies on the distributor network. Our Deal dealers are a key part of our success. As an industry, we have a responsibility to acknowledge the loyalty, commitment and professionalism that the distributor network demonstrates on a daily basis.

Nominations will open this Monday (6 September), with the shortlists announced towards the end of October. Hundreds of senior sector executives will once again choose the winners themselves, with distributors voting on the supplier categories and vice versa.
