Three Rational Deal dealers are the new owners of a Rational appliance, following a prize draw celebrating the successes of dealer partnerships with the manufacturer.
The draw took place at the Professional Kitchen Show, NEC Birmingham, on 23 January at the Rational stand.
The accreditation Deal dealer programme is aimed at providing dealers with continued support, through enhanced training, sales materials and joint marketing activities to help to maximise business opportunities.
Rational UK MD Simon Lohse commented: “Over the last year, the Deal dealer programme has ensured commitment with working in partnership with dealers. The prize draw where dealers have the opportunity to win a Rational appliance, recognises our appreciation and celebration of these successful partnerships.”
The gold accreditation winner was K F Bartlett Ltd, which took away a free SelfCookingCenter 101E model.
K F Bartlett MD John Ponsford said: “Winning the oven is completely amazing, totally out of the blue and caps what has been an incredible couple of years working with Rational.
“As a company we have worked so hard in conjunction with the team at Rational to make a success of the Deal dealer program, particularly ensuring all staff attend the training events which has definitely helped us increase our level of sales.
“Thank you to the whole team at Rational for all of the support and for assisting us to continue to benefit from this dealer partnership. Lastly, special thanks has to go to Darren Hemsley, regional sales manager, Rational, who has helped us every step of the way getting to where we are today.”
While the Silver accreditation victor was Grey Simmonds Foodservice Equipment, which won a VarioCookingCenter 112T.
The distributor’s operations director, Giles Housden commented: “Well everybody likes to be the winner, but receiving the unexpected news that you are the winner was amazing!
“At Grey Simmonds Food Service Equipment we place particular emphasis on promoting and supporting the Rational brand; I guess most chefs in a modern kitchen would consider a kitchen without a Rational isn’t really a kitchen.”
He continued: “Our highly experienced team of designers and project managers work closely with clients, providing the best service and products to maximise the potential of all the kitchens we build and the team at Rational play a significant part in this process. Thank you Rational!”
