Sussex-based consultancy Radford Chancellor Ltd has launched a new arm, Radford Chancellor Foodservice Recruitment, ahead of celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2019.
The firm has always offered a recruitment service to its clients among others but with a recent surge in recruitment projects for the consultancy, director Radford Chancellor has elected to set up a dedicated recruitment arm of the business.
At the age of 25 Chancellor started his own recruitment firm known as ‘The Catering Agency’ based out of Reading. He employed five full time office staff and had over 150 banked staff to call on as required by the agency’s customers.
The business ran for around 5 years, at which point it was sold by the now consultancy director. With previous experience in recruitment and recruitment consultancy, Radford Chancellor Ltd reports it is excited by this new prospect as sees the Foodservice Recruitment business having a fruitful future.
The new arm will have a dedicated team separate to that of the consultancy, with director Chancellor overseeing its running. They will run side by side as two separate businesses.
Heading up the recruitment division is Jon Bailey, who has worked in both the recruitment and catering/hospitality sectors for most of his adult life.
Having started in retail, he moved into recruitment at the age of 20. Since then he has worked for some of the biggest brands in business, including Alexander Mann Solutions, BAE Systems, HSBC and Hutchinson 3G. The consultancy believes that doing so has honed his customer service skills and he is excellent at building relationships with clients.
The business has already had a number of interested clients and candidates, and it looks set to hit the ground running.
