CEDA and CESA have announced new features for the 2016 Industry Technical Conference including quick-fire technical surgeries and round table discussions to focus on two key questions.

This year’s event will take place on 12 October at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel.

Peter Kay, CEDA technical support, detailed: “We know there is a real thirst for debate and answers to a range of key technical, legal and health and safety issues that impact on all those involved in foodservice equipment.

“That’s why for 2016 we are introducing the new technical surgeries during the refreshment breaks and round table debates that will culminate in two written questions per table being put to a panel of industry experts.”

The technical surgeries will focus on: gas regulations, water treatment, water regulations and refrigeration.

The overall conference sessions cover a range of technical issues including: an update on EU standards, solid fuel equipment, new assessment and training initiatives, standardised catering equipment maintenance schedules and engineer recruitment.
