Prois and Victor partnered to replace the existing counter in Tykes Restaurant, within York’s Sandburn Hall.

Prois UK, the kitchen project division of Aberdeen-headquartered Instock Group, has completed a project at the Sandburn Hall golf club in York.

The site requirements were to replace an existing counter in the Tykes Restaurant area, in keeping with its existing traditional wooden scheme. Tykes is well known locally for its theatre style cooking, while Sandburn Hall is also a popular local wedding venue.

Prois UK’s Scott McAllister worked with Bradford-based Victor Manufacturing to design and install a new servery counter, including the manufacturer’s Synergy range drop in units.

Victor’s northern rep Steven Chadwick produced the visuals and designed a counter that showcased fresh fish and meat displays (safely using enclosed full screen gantries) while still keeping the kitchen view open to customers.

The manufacturer’s commercial manager Hayley Dean commented: “We were thrilled to be able to supply this within our local community and really proud of the end result.”
