Precision has upgraded the VUBC121 drawer by reducing its height for stacking.

Precision Refrigeration has upgraded its Variable Temperature Drawer unit to enable stacking alongside other kitchen equipment.

The redesign called for the overall height to be reduced from 410mm to 380mm. This means the total height of two stacked drawers, including castors and worktop, comes to 860mm, a standard height for a working kitchen.

The new drawers can hold GN2/1 pans with a maximum depth of 150mm.

The refrigerated storage solution, said to be flexible, can be operated as a fridge or a freezer, with a temperature range of -22°C to +4°C.

Designed to operate in ambient temperatures of 43°C, the Variable Temperature Drawer uses R290 refrigerant and is rated energy efficiency class A as a refrigerator and B as a freezer.

The unit features a front breathing and rear/side venting refrigeration system so it can be sited close to other equipment or walls.

Also installed is an integrated flush door handle and high/low audio visual temperature alarms.
