Precision squeezes its way into the kitchen

Precision is aiming to show that small is beautiful with a range of refrigeration equipment designed to fit into kitchens where space is at a premium.

The company claims its 520 Series of counter refrigerators, which now includes a variable temperature unit that can switch between chilled or freezer storage, is ideal for confined areas and galley-style kitchens.

Measuring just 520mm deep, the counters provide caterers with flexible refrigerated storage options for Gastronorm 2/3 sized shelves, pans or trays, according to the Norfolk firm.

The range is available in standard refrigerator (-2 to +4°C) and meat and freezer (-18 to -22°C) versions, as well as the new variable temperature units.

Precision says the development of the series reflects the fact that “not all kitchens are standard”.

The use of an ‘Easy Breathing’ condensing unit on the equipment draws and vents through the front panel, meaning little space is required to the side and back of the unit.

Precision builds a range of commercial refrigeration equipment in the UK. The company is run by ex- Andy Fysh, Nick Williams and Jeremy Hall, all of whom previously worked for Williams Refrigeration.
