Precision gets smart for Host launches

Precision has added a single door upright model to its Retro Refrigeration range.

Precision Refrigeration is showcasing a huge range of new products at the Host Milan show from today until Tuesday.

New to market is Precision Connect, a cloud-based IoT (Internet of Things) solution, giving visibility from both a maintenance and temperature monitoring perspective on Precision Refrigeration products.

Precision Connect can be accessed anywhere and anytime via a web browser or mobile app. Customers can quickly view where their refrigeration products are, and how they are performing at their convenience.

Nick Williams, MD at Precision Refrigeration said: “The aim of Precision Connect is to save the customer time and money in reviewing the health and performance of their refrigeration equipment.

“This can all be done at the touch of a button. All information is securely hosted in the cloud and viewed through a dashboard. Continual monitoring and storage of temperature readings also takes place, and can be easily downloaded for HACCP purposes.

“Precision Connect also comes with your very own free virtual support technician. No longer do you have to wait for an onsite engineer to arrive to change equipment parameters, this can all be done via your virtual support technician.”

Precision will also be extending its Retro range of refrigeration products at Host, with back bar counters and single door upright models being added. Retro Refrigeration back bar counters will be available in two, three and four door versions. This vintage styled range of back bar units feature styled hinges and door handles to give a bar an iconic look.

The single door upright cabinet is available with standard solid doors, or a choice of clear or reeded glass doors, or solid wooden doors. The external dimensions are W 600mm x D 745mm x H 2,005mm.

Furthermore, Precision has invested in its blast chiller range. A new controller will be showcased on the stand, which will provide customers with added functionality and performance options on the PCF15, PCF40 and PCF50 models. The blast chillers now have a controlled thaw function, in addition to the blast chill and blast freeze modes.

Also being launched at Host Milan is a new range of wine storage solutions. The WS700-1950 is a single door upright cabinet with a capacity of 88 wine bottles, and will be available to view on the stand.

With a width of 700mm, a depth 600mm, and a height of 1,950mm, the WS700-1950 is suitable for storing and maturing wine. There is also the WS700-900 wine undercounter available in the range, which has a bottle capacity of 27 bottles. Both wine storage solutions come with tinted glass, LED lighting and slide out wooden wine shelves as standard.

Another new product for Host Milan is the Precision CM700-1950 Cheese Maturing Cabinet. With a settable temperature range of +2 to 15°C, this cabinet can store all types of cheese. The CM700-1950 has a width of 700mm, depth of 600mm, and height of 1,950mm.

The Meat Ageing Cabinet has had an update too. Now known as the MA700-1950, it offers customers an enhanced storage capacity to store more meat. Himalayan Rock Salt is supplied as standard with the cabinet, to enhance flavour, and to optimise humidity regulation. The MA700-1950 has a width of 700mm, height of 1,950mm, and only a 600mm depth.

Precision’s new products can be seen on stand N12 P11 in hall 2 of the Fieramilano.
