What are Middleby UK’s current focuses?
We want to bring the most cost-effective products to the market, from speed ovens to high quality cooking appliances. We continue to develop the most user-friendly appliances, so that the chefs can concentrate on the food and presentation.
How is the company performing?
Year on year Middleby has increased its turnover and profit which is then reinvested in ground-breaking developments. We consistently change our showroom to better serve a continually changing demands of our customers.
How are you utilising the latest technologies?
Middleby continues to develop controllers which can be wi-fi enabled. This means that each unit can be monitored and controlled from a central point in the kitchen, making it easier for chains to download menus and check performances of ovens via the cloud based system. The Middleby Cooperation is also continually creating robotic solutions to help efficiencies in the kitchen and bar area. We continue to manufacturer the most energy efficient equipment in the industry.
What is your strategy for the UK dealer network?
Middleby UK has a Centre of Innovation kitchen to enable distributors to show products to their customers prior to purchase. We also have Houno ovens and Turbochef ovens strategically placed around the country to allow for distributors and end users to have demonstrations. Our salespeople each have a Turbochef Eco which they take to a distributor’s premises and do live cooking.
Why is it important for you to support UK distributors?
Distributors are important to us as this is our route to market. We see working with distributors as a partnership and offer them education of our products to further expand their knowledge.
They are a vital part of any sales, from quoting our equipment to the installation and support to the end user; we work closely with all our distributors to provide excellent customer experiences and we also support all Cedabond members.

Middleby, being one of the largest manufacturers in the world, has many solutions within its portfolio to provide cutting edge solutions for these Power Players.
How do you assist dealers with after-sales support?
We provide support to dealers from the moment they specify our equipment, offering free live demonstrations to all end users and dealers to make sure they are aware of the capabilities of all our equipment to ensure it is used to its capacity. We supply technical support and warranty for all our units and assist distributors with onsite demonstrations once items have been installed.
How do you see the company developing?
Middleby UK is constantly progressing from new products to acquisitions, and we will continue to grow year on year. We believe with our cutting-edge products we will supply the market with the best solutions.
