Print2Taste has released the fifth generation of its Procusini 3D food printer.

With version 5.0, users have the choice: they can use their own food or special Procusini food refills from the manufacturer. In addition to Procusini 3D Choco Dark and 3D Choco White, these also include 3D Marzipan, 3D Fondant and 3D Pasta.

The unit’s operation is via a 3.5inch colour display, and it features auto-calibration and stainless steel cartridges. Users also have free access to the Procusini Club with numerous applications for creating their own 3D objects and over 1,000 templates.

Print2Taste reported that during the development of the fifth product generation it has listened to customers in the professional kitchen.

CEO Gerd Funk said: “Our customers demand simple operation and reliability in the daily workflow.

“Using a 3D food printer has never been so easy. Since 3D food printing is already used in the first private households, professionals now have some catching up to do. Our new Procusini brings everything that professionals desire.”

The Procusini 5.0 comes with accessories and a starter pack with a selection of 3D food refills.
