Porkka saves space with 'combi' cold rooms


Porkka has unveiled its dual temperature combination cold rooms — an ideal solution when space is at a premium and two different temperature cold rooms are required.

The Combi Room range offers a large selection of sizes and the chiller-freezer split can be selected to suit the operator’s requirements.

The Porkka chiller/freezer comes as standard but the chiller section can be replaced by a medium temperature (-2°C to +12°C) unit if required. The rooms also offer the option of ‘walk-through’ (chiller at the front, freezer at the back) or side-by-side configurations.

They can also be used with Porkka’s exclusive Remote Heat Disposal System (RHDS). The RHDS prevents heat build-up by providing an easy, low cost method for transferring waste heat from the refrigeration system to either an external area or an indoor area where the heat can be utilised.

Porkka Combi Rooms are supplied complete with four tier wall mounted shelving, with a storage space that is maximised to assist good stock control, thereby saving money and improving overall quality. The chiller section can be supplied with or without a floor, allowing extra storage of trolleys if required.
