PMJ clears the air at Beeston Manor kitchen refit

PMJ Kitchen Ventilation has completed the installation of an advanced extraction canopy as part of a full kitchen refit at Beeston Manor Hotel in Preston.

PMJ installed an L-shaped canopy, complete with stainless steel baffle filters and lights. The custom installation included Flakt Woods Max Fan and speed controller, silencers, ductwork and stainless steel wall cladding below the canopy.

The canopy took a full day to install for two of PMJ’s ventilation engineers at the family-run hotel in the Ribble Valley.

Paul Jackson, managing director for PMJ, said that speed of turnaround was crucial for the £6,000 installation. “From receiving the order from our customer on the Monday, we had completed the job the following Tuesday. This is our aim with every order we receive as quick turnaround is very important in the catering industry,” he told Catering Insight.
