Portable kitchen specialist PKL is throwing open its doors next week to give existing and prospective customers a behind-the-scenes look at what it has to offer.
The company is inviting caterers to its Cheltenham HQ on June 13-14 to take a closer look at its KitchenPod and Food Cube range.
The KitchenPod and Food Cube are bespoke permanent kitchen and servery buildings, and there will be a variety of units on site for visitors to view. Members of the PKL team will also be on hand to provide guides and information on the units.
Lee Vines, sales and marketing director at PKL, said the firm aims to use the event to demonstrate how its units can add value to catering operations.
“For instance, in secondary schools this can mean increased sales, reduced queues and greater numbers staying on site over the lunch period,” he said. “For primary schools, we have solutions for those wanting to provide a hot school meal service but not having the space or the equipment.
“For care homes, our kitchen units can free up revenue generating space in the main building by creating a kitchen ‘annexe’ while in the leisure industry our facilities can be used to create additional satellite catering outlets or large central production kitchens.”
The open day will include a tour of the PKL facilities, and demonstrations of PKL’s various types of permanent and temporary modular kitchen and servery buildings.
