Catering equipment suppliers, Orchard Ovens and Linda Lewis Kitchens, have built on their recent partnership to combine their products in Orchard’s demonstration kitchen.
Linda Lewis has moved two models of the Cuppone oven brand it supplies into Orchard Ovens’ demo kitchen in Preston. The Paolo and baby Giotto appliances are also joined by a Cuppone pizza press and stand and the brand’s dough mixer.
Additionally, the demonstration kitchen is now equipped with products from another Italian brand that Linda Lewis Kitchens imports and supplies – Friulco. Visitors can now see two Friulco dough dividers and rounders, the LLKDDR42 and the LLKDDR4430, and a dough roller (LLKFRS33). One of the rounders demonstrates pizza, whilst the other can make naans and flatbreads for the ethnic restaurant sector.
All of this equipment now sits alongside the Valoriani ovens that Orchard Ovens supplies. The demonstration kitchen houses the Igloo, OT gas-fired oven and a Fornino (wood-fired and gas versions) and a Valoriani Forno Grill.
The facility will be officially launched on 15 October, with the event featuring demonstrations from Andrew and Dino Manciocchi, of Orchard Ovens, and Luciano Vendone from Deli Conti. Viola Valoriani will also be flying in from Tuscany for the day.
Linda Lewis said: “By working with Orchard Ovens, we have become a one-stop shop for anyone wanting pizza ovens or pizza making equipment in their commercial kitchen. We recognised that individual chefs would have definite and individual preferences for which type of fuel they wish to use in their kitchen, so competition rarely existed. By coming together, we can handle all pizza-related equipment needs and save chefs vital time and effort in trying to shop around.
“By creating a demonstration kitchen for pizza equipment, which is like no other in the country, we can also allow chefs to test equipment and assess how it suits them. This is a truly unique option and we have already generated much excitement about it, even before our official launch.”
