Phil Dixon is returning to Brakes Catering Equipment, the place where he started out in the industry back in 2001.
As general sales manager (capital and light equipment), his aim is to provide quality and support for the Brakes Group, working closely with all areas of the company to grow the business over the coming months and years.
Dixon first joined Brakes as an independent sales coordinator in light equipment sales, and was later promoted to the capital equipment sales department as part of a team that saw a high level of growth and success.
In 2007 he left the company for Caffe Society, to set up a catering equipment division that later became CS Catering Equipment, now an independent business.
After almost a decade as CS’ sales director he is now back in the Brakes fold and commented: “To come back into the organisation where it all started for me and to be part of Brakes Catering Equipment’s exciting future plans was an opportunity not to be missed.”
Leeds-based CS has now reshuffled its senior staff, with Hayley Dean becoming the general manager of the company, and other sales staff stepping up to cover some of Dixon’s former role.
Dean is now the longest-serving employee at the company, having spent 8 years working her way up to heading the marketing department and stock management, prior to her recent promotion.
