Water boiler specialist Calomax has appointed Peter Brindle as business development manager.
Brindle has over 30 years of experience in selling British-made water boilers, which Calomax feels will be a great fit for the company as it seeks to re-connect with catering equipment distributors, emerging from lockdown.
Whilst northern-based initially, he will be free to follow up any opportunities from distributors interested in offering water boilers made in Britain.
Brindle was previously part of competitor Instanta, but was made redundant as the division was further integrated into parent company, Zip.
Calomax’ sales and marketing director Paul Bowers said: “Having competed with Peter for the last 15+ years, it’s great to have him on our side.
“Peter is a well-respected and very popular character in this sector, and his expertise was too good to let go to waste.
“Calomax has kept busy throughout the pandemic, supplying the NHS and other public sector customers, but as the country re-opens, Peter’s unique knowledge of the catering equipment sector will provide us with new markets.”
