Undeterred by the coronavirus, Pentland Wholesale has announced a successful exhibition of its Blizzard range at the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show 2020 in the London this week.
Speaking exclusively to Catering Insight, internal sales executive Andrew Arnold said of the show: “We’ve brought across a new range that we’re promoting. It’s under the Blizzard label and varies from induction hobs to catering equipment.
“We also have some brand new serve holders and multidecks that we’re very impressed with. We think they’re going to do very well in the market.
“A lot of the glasswashers and dishwashers too. We’re introducing a lot to Blizzard now, more and more versatile products, and we’re excited about where it’s going.
“They’re competitively priced. Then back that with the warranties and you have a great product. We’re just trying to push those as much as possible really.”
Speaking on the effects of the coronavirus on the show, Arnold says that Pentland never considered pulling out.
“There was no worry the show wouldn’t go ahead,” Arnold confirmed. “For ourselves we know it’s a big opportunity, this event. It’s the place to be in terms of pushing the products and beating the opposition, just getting the name out there basically.
“I think people are following the general advice from the government, and just using common sense. They seem to be getting on with it, using their hand gels and everything.”
Pentland’s successful showing at HRC comes after the recent launch of a new Blizzard website to go with the new range. Read more below:
