Pentland Wholesale has launched its new website. Having been in the pipeline for the past 18 months, the arrival of the new website is designed to overhaul Pentland’s product and content offerings, as well as giving a smoother, more intuitive user experience.
With a fresh look and feel, the new website should enable users to navigate through Pentland’s product offering with ease. Delivering what is said to be a fully responsive experience, the new website should give users a seamless transition from desktop to mobile browsing.
The new website is designed to provide comprehensive product information as well as an online ordering facility for dealers and distributors.
The website is fully integrated with its ERP system, which provides live time stock information. Users can check their trade prices after logging in to the website with their trade account. They can also find out the cost of different delivery options and additional services such as scrap collection. Orders can be placed by account or credit card payment.
The new website offers both currencies – British Pounds and Euro, so that Irish customers can check their prices and place orders online.
Pentland has developed the new website with some user-friendly features. Customers can submit a service call request online with their details pre-filled to save time and effort. Users can also create branded product literature with their logo, contact details and their own pricing. A Live Chat facility was implemented to engage customers and provide instant support.
