Originally a family owned business, it is based in the heart of Lancashire with a skilled workforce that aims to continue the heritage of quality manufacturing synonymous with the area.

The Canopy Company is also a member of the “Made in Britain” scheme, utilising the marque to enhance the reputation of the business. Its fabrication and sheet metal industry experience helps the firm to work proactively with its clients to provide cost effective solutions to meet their requirements.

Dean Simpson, group operations director at Pentland Wholesale said: “We’re very excited to welcome The Canopy Company into the Pentland family.

“The Canopy Company is a perfect fit into our portfolio of businesses offering professional bespoke manufacturing alongside our Pentland Wholesale and CEP (Catering Equipment Professional) products. All three companies complement their route to market being strictly B2B through dealer and installer networks.”

The Canopy Company will continue to operate as a separate business following the acquisition and retains its original management team.
