Pentland Wholesale has reported a healthy set of financial results for the 12 months to 31 December 2017, according to its latest publicly-available accounts on Companies House.

The wholesaler, which imports commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment, recorded its highest ever turnover of £14.4m, nearly 12% up on 2016’s total of £12.9m.

Furthermore, headcount was slightly reduced from 47 to 45 employees.

Chris Allen, group MD, told Catering Insight: “The directors are pleased with our results in 2017.”

Following this accounting period, the Pentland Group subsidiary took over ownership of ventilation equipment fabricator, The Canopy Company, from sister firm Acme Facilities Group.
