Pentland grows business with fleet investment

Pentland Wholesale should have no problems keeping to its delivery schedules after making a major investment in its transport fleet.

The Lancashire catering equipment and refrigeration wholesaler confirmed today that it has introduced six new Iveco ML75-E16 lorries to its fleet.

The move means that Pentland will now operate 10 vehicles for UK deliveries, including four smaller 3.5 tonne wagons.

“The delivery service we’ve been able to offer over the years is one of the main things that has kept us ahead of the competition, so ensuring we have a steady fleet of modern, well-maintained vehicles is crucial to our operation,” the company stated.

“These new vehicles have an increased load capacity and come under Emission Class 5, meaning as well as being more efficient to run, they are also reducing our carbon footprint without compromising the service we provide.”

Pentland said the investment in its fleet follows on from the release of its new product guide, which features several additional ranges.
