Pentland Wholesale has appointed Brendan Murphy as its distributor business development manager covering the south of England, to work with and develop the supplier’s distributor partner network.
Murphy has worked within the foodservice industry for more than 30 years, initially as a chef. He has been involved in winning commercial equipment specifications whilst working for Falcon Foodservice, Glen Dimplex and, most recently, Lincat.
Pentland believes he brings a wealth of experience gained whilst working with distributors, national accounts and the public sector over the last 21 years.
Murphy commented: “I am really pleased to be joining a company with such a strong customer and quality product focus. Pentland Wholesale is a company with great people, products and prices. I am looking forward to meeting existing distributors and developing new strategic partners to grow the business with Pentland Wholesale.”
Maxine Mason, commercial director of Pentland Wholesale, added: “We’re very excited to welcome Brendan into the Pentland family. Alongside Paul Royds, our business development manager for the northern region and Ireland, we can provide an even better service to our B2B dealers around the country.”
