Pentland and Infrico back on good terms

Pentland Wholesale and Infrico have re-established their exclusivity agreement for the distribution of the manufacturer’s refrigeration equipment in the UK.

Blackburn-based Pentland now has the rights to provide distributors with the entire range of Infrico and Infricool products. Its sister company, Pentland Parts, has also been assigned as the exclusive supplier of spare parts for the range.

The agreement revives a partnership that came under some stress a couple of years ago when Infrico moved to set up its own UK operation alongside Pentland.

Juan Carlos Fernandez, Infrico export manager, said the company felt it was the right time to resume the partnership with Pentland on an exclusive basis.

“We are delighted to be working exclusively with Pentland again. The stock of key products, extensive knowledge of the range, service assistance and logistics that Pentland offer are key reasons why we approached them to re-establish our partnership.”

Pentland Wholesale’s commercial director, Maxine Mason, added: “We are pleased to be building on 17 years of promoting the Infrico brand, the new products and UK specific catalogue demonstrate Infrico’s commitment to the UK market through our company.”

Pentland said the deal has been signed in time for the Infrico range to feature in its forthcoming product guide, which it will be sending out to distributors in June.
