Euan Hunter has moved to Parry from Moffat.

Draycott-based Parry Catering (Midlands) has appointed Euan Hunter as its new business development manager.

After a positive two years where Parry has made progress toward its goal of business transformation, Hunter’s appointment is intended to strengthen its sales offering, and he will be working alongside the existing Parry sales team.

Hunter has been in the catering industry for the last 20 years holding key roles with companies including Falcon in areas including sales, design and marketing. He moves to Parry following a 4-year tenure at Moffatt where he was area sales manager responsible for the North of England.

He will head up the new business development function and drive Parry’s new product development program, with his remit being to build on the key distributor accounts for the Derbyshire-based firm.

Hunter commented: “This is an excellent opportunity to work with the team at Parry. They are a dynamic, forward-looking company and I’m excited to draw upon my industry experience to help Parry continue their growth.”

Parry MD Mark Banton commented: “We’re delighted that Euan is joining the Parry team; he is the archetypal consummate professional and brings with him a wealth of experience in this sector. His personality and demeanour match the Parry culture perfectly.”

The manufacturer recently consolidated its growth by appointing an additional two production engineers in the drawing office to increase its design capacity and meet the growing need for bespoke fabrications.
