Pantheon upgrades mixer design

Pantheon Catering Equipment has redesigned its PM10 planetary mixer with an aim to make it more durable and user-friendly than its predecessor.

To eliminate the possibility of rusting, the body of the new model is made from a resilient, rust proof metal while the painted finish is heat cured for durability.

Also, the lifting handle is now made from stainless steel, as is the whisk and heavy duty, 10litre mixing bowl. The beater and dough hook are fabricated from high grade aluminium.

Further improvements include changing the micro switch to a heavy duty, metal roller type with a stainless steel connector and further reinforcing the fascia panel’s durability so that it will withstand the heaviest use.

The mixer is powered by a 0.5kW motor while the all gear driven transmission is said to ensure friction-free operation across three speed settings.

The model features a red, mushroom-type stop button which complies with all UK local authorities’ safety guidelines. For additional safety, all PM10s have a fix on to the guard feeder chute.

An alternative version, the PM10-MC, which incorporates a mincer and shredding attachment, is also available.

The mixers have dimensions of 485mm (w) x 410mm (d) x 635mm (h) and weigh 75kg.

Pantheon’s equipment is available from a nationwide network of approved dealers and includes a 12 months parts and labour warranty.
