Panhandling, the official guide to getting it right


A handy guide on picking the right pan has been compiled by MCS Technical Products.

The guide, ‘A caterer’s guide to understanding cookware’, is the brain child of MCS managing director Steve Snow and was written and complied by MCS national sales manager Peter Rigby who has a wealth of experience with pots and pans (he spent the best part of eight years at Meyer).

According to Snow the guide was born from his frustration at the number of young chefs who turn up to competitions MCS has sponsored and don’t know which pan is for what.
