Online equipment seller cranks up sales efforts


Catering equipment and refrigeration supplier Alexanders Direct has appointed a specialist agency to manage its online marketing strategy.

The Andover-based outfit will use SEO Traffic Lab’s expertise to target more of the country and ensure that new customers can find exactly what they are looking for. The company also wants to make sure that existing customers are made more aware of special offers.

Alexanders Direct offers products from brands such as Lincat, Foster, Gram, Parry, Liebherr, Hoshizaki and True, describing itself as “one of the only online retailers to carry its own stock”. This, says the company, allows it to offer customers swift and direct shipping on any item.

The firm also prides itself on offering customers a “price guarantee”. Should a customer find their products anywhere else for cheaper, Alexanders Direct will match the price or offer it at a lower price. This price challenge is available on any product it stocks.

Alexanders Direct has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector and almost a decade in online sales. Customers include Spar, Virgin and the NHS.
