Old Blind School sees outfit contract sealed

Chester-based C&C Catering Equipment has been appointed by New Moon Co to supply and install the catering facilities at The Old Blind School in Liverpool, the pub chain’s seventh site and the start of a roll out of restaurant concepts.

The Old Blind School is a Grade II listed building that has undergone major renovations and restorations prior to the kitchen installations, and will serve state of the art dining areas.

DV8 Designs of Warrington will lead the project, with C&C Catering Equipment responsible for a new ground floor bar along with a 60 cover outside terrace, coupled with a larger first floor À la carte restaurant.

Works are now underway and the entire team at C&C are working hard to reach to their deadlines prior to the official opening in late May.

Peter Farrell, C&C sales director, commented: “We are delighted to have been appointed by the New Moon Co to deliver this project. Owners David Mooney and Paul Newman are very forward thinking and a team we relish the opportunity to be associated with.”
