Tableware manufacturer Oak&Ford has created new flight boards and paddles for drinks presentation.
The latest products are designed to cater to the trend for spirits such as gin, whisky and mead, getting drinkers to try new varieties.
Flight boards and paddles can also be used to serve teas and soft drinks, as well as wines and spirits as they can be made in universal sizes or bespoke to fit specific glasses or vessels.
Oak&Ford says the paddles can also be used to transporting drinks to outside areas in the summer months.
The manufacturer can use laser engraving technology to brand the items with an operator’s logo too.
The flight boards are available in standard and premium types. Each unit is made from a solid oak board with recesses to house glasses. These are made to measure the foot of the glasses being used, or a universal recess can be created.
The premium board has hand spun brass inserts for what is said to be a luxury finish or to be used to distinguish a particular tasting.
The paddles are made from American white oak to house standard or speciality glasses. paddles can be recessed or cut through according to how the end user wants glasses to be presented. They are supplied with a water-resistant finish for easy cleaning.
