Catering equipment servicing company NWCE has created a hospitality confidence survey to gauge how the public will react to the foodservice sector once the national lockdown is lifted.
NWCE MD Ben Odling explained: “I’m doing the survey now and I will do the same survey in a month to see if the public’s thoughts have changed with the ever-changing environment.
“It’s obvious that the situation has changed our industry as a whole and will do for the future, but I hope the survey can help everyone involved in the hospitality industry to prepare for what is to come, even if it’s for forecasting staffing levels to ordering stock.”
He continued: “Some of the ideas that the public have put together in the comments section will also I believe help them feel safer when eating and drinking out. The survey can also help people in the hospitality industry put things into place and also help with their marketing so people can feel that little safer when they go out.”
The quick survey can be accessed here.
Odling concluded: “We have some very interesting data at the moment, I promise to share that with people in the industry that help get the survey filled in. The data will be invaluable for operators, suppliers and contractors.”
