NotJustTaps has launched the Thermassure tap range, featuring a safety cartridge which shuts off the water at a maximum of 45°C along with aerators to help manage and reduce infection control.
Heat expands a wax element and drives the tap’s piston to reduce the hot water inlet flow rate, meaning the outlet temperature should never exceed 45°C. If cold water pressure fails, the piston should ensure a fast and complete closure of the hot water inlet.
The new series includes styles for commercial use, plus high specification medical taps which are fitted with elbow levers and Neoperl laminar-flow aerators, which prevent airborne particles entering the stream and thus should reduce the spread of infection
The Neoperl aerators are designed to enable a smooth non-splash water stream.
The taps are supplied with Mediflex hoses made from non-taint polyethylene liner. The units are said to be WRAS and Worldwide drinking water approved.
Derek Aaronson, founder of NotJustTaps, said: “We are really excited to have launched Thermassure, especially during a time where hand sanitation is more important than ever before.
“Thermassure guarantees maximum temperature stability to prevent scalding whilst saving energy by washing with minimum water and energy usage resulting in savings. We’re also incredibly proud of the aerator feature, through which we hope to significantly manage and reduce infection control.”
