Iglu Cold Systems has supplied the refrigeration solution for Cyrus Todiwala’s new Assado restaurant at the latest Hampton by Hilton after teaming up with Northern Refrigeration and Catering Equipment.
Northern Refrigeration asked Iglu to provide the refrigeration equipment for the kitchen, including a number of uprights, refrigerated counters and blast chiller.
Mike Brown, managing director of the Sheffield-based distributor, said: “We have used Iglu for all our key account projects over the last three years and have always been exceptionally pleased with their product and the service we receive.
“We needed to use a high specification on all the products supplied for this project to ensure we had future-proofed it and had the confidence that, no matter what the chefs demanded of the Iglu range, it would exceed all their expectations and meet all their future demands.”
Brown said the brand not only offered a “high specification product” but was competitively priced against other manufacturers and has the added advantage of a standard five-year parts warranty.
The restaurant, which is based in Waterloo, is the third that Todiwala operates in London and will serve a range of Portuguese food with an Indian twist.
Simon Clements, managing director of Iglu Cold Systems, said: “We have worked with Mike Brown from Northern Refrigeration and Catering Equipment very well for a number of years and when he invited us to discuss his requirements for this project we worked closely with him to ensure we could provide exactly what was required.”
