North Tees NHS appeals for cold room supplier

North Tees & Hartlepool NHS is looking for a supplier to carry out a major cold room and freezer installation at one of its sites in the North East.

Suppliers have until next week to register their interest for the contract, which the organisation is valuing at between £25,000 and £50,000.

The project will involve building and installing a new cold room and freezers within the main kitchen at North Tees. The NHS body wants the new facilities to replace the existing units it has on site.

It says the new units will need to demonstrate a level of redundancy within the chilling capacity to maintain service.

The project needs to be completed by the end of August.
