Distributor categories

Distributor of the Year – North of England, sponsored by Blue Seal

This distinction will be awarded to a catering equipment dealer based anywhere from the Midlands northwards in England which has shone over the past year. This could be due to going above and beyond the call of duty in terms of design, service and installation, or because of other commendable ways they have developed their business.

Distributor of the Year – South of England, sponsored by Nayati

The south of England is a busy market, right from the Cotswolds to East Anglia, and including the ever-competitive London market, and this award will honour a dealer that has excelled as a business or overcome challenges to design and install incredible commercial kitchens.

Distributor of the Year – Rest of the UK, sponsored by DC Products

Dealers in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will be recognised in this category for the exemplary work they are carrying out in those regions, whether it is the supply and installation of equipment or a full-service commercial kitchen design.

Distributor of the Year – Project Management, sponsored by Welbilt

With the diverse challenges that distributors can face in designing and installing kitchens, it takes a special firm to balance all the spinning plates simultaneously – and to a first-class standard. Nominate for this award to recognise a company that stands out for delivering a very special project.

Emerging Distributor of the Year, sponsored by Jestic Foodservice Equipment

New entrants to the catering equipment market are popping up all the time, but this accolade will honour a dealer that was established less than 5 years ago, and which is making a name for itself by growing its business through winning new projects and delivering high levels of service.

Digital Initiative of the Year

New for 2017, this category will honour a distributor, either traditional or online, who has really embraced the digital medium, whether it is for sales, service, technology, showcasing their capabilities or an innovative social media campaign.

Service & Maintenance Provider of the Year, sponsored by First Choice Group

Service and maintenance is absolutely critical in the world of catering equipment, and this category will reward those that are blazing a trail when it comes to repairing, maintaining and servicing kitchens. This award is open to both specialist service companies and distributors that operate dedicated service businesses.

Headline honours

Two special headline awards will be the crowning achievements for distributors and industry personalities.

Distributor of the Year – Nationwide, sponsored by Rational

This special honour will recognise a major distributor which has completed mammoth commercial kitchen projects to a high standard, up and down the country, while still offering a personalised, sterling service.

Lifetime Achievement Award

One outstanding individual will be presented with the lifetime achievement accolade – someone who has devoted their entire career to the catering equipment industry and excelled in their role.
