Nobel Fire Systems has completed the design and installation of a complete fire suppression system in the commercial kitchen of the Student Union at Worcester University.
The company deployed its flagship K-Series system in the kitchen of the new Pear Tree bar and coffee house, which serves hot food and beverages every day of the week until 11pm.
Nobel claims that while student and staff safety was the main factor in the university purchasing the Nobel K-Series system, the speed of installation by its team of engineers also influenced the decision-making process.
“A major part of our success is due to an ability to deliver our services in a flexible and bespoke way in addition to providing market-leading products that are now installed in many of the leading catering establishments,” said Ben Parker, commercial director of Nobel.
Nobel’s K-Series fire protection systems are electronically controlled with no mechanical moving parts. Installations comprise of one or a number of stainless steel cylinders, each containing a highly effective F class wet chemical liquid designed specifically for fast flame knock down and fire suppression.
