Nisbets Leeds store is company’s biggest to date

A new Nisbets store that has opened in the centre of Leeds is the company’s largest retail outlet to date, it has revealed.

The trade outlet close to Leeds City Centre officially opened for business during the last fortnight and is targeting customers in and around the Yorkshire area.

Nisbets says the store contains 3,000 products to take away on the spot and “tens of thousands” more available for next day delivery.

The launch of the Leeds branch comes a year after Nisbets opened a similar store in Birmingham. It now has four stores in total, with existing branches in London and Bristol.

Nisbets’ newest addition to the estate opens on Monday to Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm.

Simon O’Mahony, marketing director at Nisbets, says the company is aiming for the store to become Leeds’ “one-stop kitchen equipment shop” for professional chefs.

“Feedback from our customers indicates that they like to have the opportunity to see and feel the products, which is why having a shop-front presence is key to continuing our excellent levels of service,” he said.

Nisbets said the store features equipment from brands such as Waring, KitchenAid, Chef Works, Dynamic, Santos, Kenwood, Samsung and Royal Porcelain, as well as its own-label lines including Buffalo, Polar, Athena and Olympia.
