Nisbets has now received four ISO accreditations.

Nisbets has been awarded four ISO certifications in quality, occupational health and safety, environmental management and energy.

The accreditations should give assurance that Nisbets products and services meet the quality expectations of its customers, as well as demonstrate a clear commitment to being a responsible business with high sustainability standards.

Covering the core of Nisbets operations in Avonmouth and at Mitre Linen based in south Wales, the internationally recognised ISO certifications are said to represent Nisbets’ continued effort to operate responsibly with a focus on continual improvement.

As well as annual audits, they should ensure that the business is at a consistent global quality across all central activity, with plans to expand their scope to benefit Nisbets’ wider operating entities and trading territories.

Klaus Goeldenbot, Nisbets’ chief executive officer, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Nisbets. We now hold an official global standard for four key areas of our business, which marks an important step in proving our company values and commitment to quality assurance and responsible business to all our stakeholders and colleagues across the industry.

“Nisbets is dedicated to leading the way in ensuring the same trusted quality, corporate responsibility and pledge to sustainability is demonstrated in all of our business activity.

“As our business grows and our integrated management system matures, developing the reach of our ISO certifications in quality, occupational health and safety, environmental management and energy will let our customers trust and expect a consistent standard of responsible business from all Nisbets operations.”
