Nick Edwards is to swap his role as sales rep at Global Foodservice Equipment for a key accounts manager position at Vision Commercial Kitchens.
He is to spearhead Vision’s new light equipment offering to its growing client base as well as developing new prospects for the business, using his 20+ years in the industry with spells at 3663, Apuro, Lockhart and a number of years working as an industry freelance consultant.
Vision’s ecommerce website for light equipment is currently under development and due to be launched in May/June 2015. This will complement the company’s current project based and one-off heavy equipment offering and the aim is to be able to provide a one stop solution for all commercial catering needs.
Edwards commented: “I am delighted to be joining Vision for what is clearly a very exciting time ahead for the business. I am very much looking forward to working alongside the team and bringing my additional knowledge and experience of the light equipment product portfolio on board to further enhance the client offer.”
Vision’s MD, Craig Forrester, added: “We’ve considered the ecommerce side of the business for some time and feel that, with the recruitment of a seasoned professional in Nick, we can develop this area substantially. Nick will be a great addition to the team.”
