The NHS body responsible for Scotland’s Grampian area is looking for a distributor to service its kitchen facilities over a three-year period.
NHS Grampian has issued a contract notice for the repair and maintenance services of catering equipment in the City of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
It operates a total of 20 sites in the North-East Scottish region and says that approximately 3 000 individual systems or pieces of equipment are covered by the contract.
The deal will include six-month and annual preventative maintenance, testing and ongoing reactive maintenance tasks on catering equipment in the hospitals it manages.
NHS Grampian has revealed the initial contract will run until June 2015, subject to satisfactory performance. Two further 12-month extension options will be available thereafter subject to agreement between both parties.
The deadline for submitting a tender is 11th June. The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
