Newco Catering Equipment officially celebrates its tenth anniversary this month and hopes to make it a year to remember by achieving a turnover of £3m.
The Coventry-based catering maintenance outfit was set up by husband-and-wife team Michael and Janet Waters in 2003 and now employs 32 people, including sales managers, area service engineers and administration executives.
Over the past decade they have brought nine apprentices through the ranks, while their sons also work for the business to make it a true family affair.
“The whole company is delighted to be celebrating our tenth anniversary and we are immensely proud of what we have achieved in 10 years,” said Janet.
“We have developed our company and gained good industry reputation. Even through the tough economic years we have been able to achieve steady growth and looking to the end of this financial year we are on target for 22% growth.”
Although Newco was founded as a service company and remains best known for its repair and maintenance work, firm has expanded into equipment sales of late. It hopes this part of the business will generate a third of its revenues this year.
