A smart hand sanitising station suitable for hospitality venues, offices, factories, sporting venues and shops is being launched in the UK to help companies protect staff, customers, clients and the general public as Covid-19 lockdown restrictions continue to be eased.
The Smart SanitiStation, which has been designed and manufactured in Europe, is designed to provide a stand-alone, non-contact hand sanitising station with automatic hand detection, delivering measured doses of sanitiser accordingly. The station also incorporates an anti-bacterial wipe dispenser, a disposable glove dispenser and a waste bin for safe disposal.
The machine also features smart technology. Scanner or facial recognition sensors are incorporated into the station and software is embedded so that when a user sanitises their hands, data for each user is recorded.
Using API (Application Programming Interface), this data integrates directly with the company’s HR or HSE systems, which can then be used for analysis. This could enable the business to create a detailed report on usage and the AI provides a predictive model on who will and won’t sanitise during the week ahead, enabling action to be taken to ensure that they do.

The station has a 5litre capacity to dispense both alcohol-based sanitisers and non-alcohol sanitisers for children, which the equivalent of up to 10,000 doses.
Operated through main power or battery, each station can have wheels attached to make it mobile. An LED backlight illuminates the front panel of the station. Each station can also be customised with the user’s own branding to fit with any work environment.
