New management duo for Meiko


Two new regional sales managers have joined Meiko to help reinforce regional sales support for Scotland, East England and the East Midlands.

James Kilday is the warewasher manufacturer’s new regional sales manager for Scotland. He will be reporting to Michael Boyd, Meiko’s regional director for Scotland, Ireland and the north of England.

With previous experience of the warewashing market at JLA where he earned the ‘top salesman’ accolade, Kilday has spent more than 20 years’ working in the commercial B2B market.

He commented: “When I saw the advertisement for this job, I knew it had my name all over it. I have known about Meiko for a long time, their professionalism as a company, their outstanding technical services and product offer. It was really a ‘no brainer’ for me to join what is the best company in the market.”

Furthermore, Ross Genner has moved from Newco Catering Equipment to become Meiko’s new East Midlands and East of England regional sales manager. He is reporting to Peter Nimmo, Midlands regional sales director.

Genner said: “I have enjoyed 6 years as a service engineer and 3 years as installation engineer and I was very keen to move into sales.

“I have always thought very highly of Meiko as a company and this position is a big step for me. The added bonus is that my good friend and previous colleague Craig Barnett had also moved to Meiko UK.

“I have been here just over a month and am really enjoying it and am looking forward to a long and prosperous future with Meiko.”
