New executive chef for Thistle Parc


Award-winning cook Iain Inman has been named as the new executive chef of The Social restaurant in Cardiff.

The Thistle Parc-owned restaurant says Inman brings with him a wealth of experience, which he will use to source high quality products from the region to create his new fine dining menu.

The new menu includes a series of Welsh dishes with a contemporary twist, such as the Grilled Rib Usk Valley Beef with Double Dragon Ale Sauce, Lemongrass Panacotta and Green Tea Sorbet.

Inman has spent 15 years in the hotel and leisure industry, including positions at Pennyhill Park Hotel and Albannach Bar, which have both won awards.

“We are delighted to have Iain on board as our Executive chef at The Social. The Parc has built up a fantastic reputation as a great dining destination in Cardiff, with The Social being recently awarded two prestigious AA rosettes,” said Darren Patt, regional operations director of Thistle Hotels.

Thistle Hotels is part of Guoman Hotel Management (UK) Limited which operates hotels throughout the UK. There are 33 Thistle hotels across the country.
