Cambro has published a ‘Tray Selection Guide’ to help dealers and end users find the best fit foodservice trays for their requirements.
Available to download from the manufacturer’s website, the guide shows what different types of tray are available and what tasks they are best suited to, including which Cambro model fits the bill.
A grid is designed to make it easy to pick the most suitable tray.
Cambro believes the right tray can cut down on accidents and breakages. A non-skid surface should prevent items from slipping off the tray and causing spills and accidents.
For example, Cambro Camtread trays have a fiberglass construction featuring a heavy-duty, non-skid rubber surface that should not wear out or lose integrity from warewashing demands. Plus they are said to help with environmental issues, as no paper mats should be required to keep items in place.
The manufacturer also feels that trays can help with getting branding messages out, as its products can be personalised with logos, images or any type of artwork, or subtle surface embossing.
The guide also details how Cambro Century Wood Grain Trays are made of what is described as ‘high performance polyester’ for intensive use and have a textured woodgrain pattern that covers the tray from edge to edge and top and bottom for a real wood look and feel. They are designed to be scratch, chemical and break-resistant and dishwasher safe.
All trays have a 5 year warranty and feature stacking lugs for proper air flow for fast drying and stacking.
Cambro trays are available in round, oval and rectangular shapes in a range of colours.
