Lincat has redesigned its popular LPW/LR pie cabinet to accommodate an additional shelf which makes the display capacity 33% larger than the previous model.
The Middleby-owned manufacturer says it has adapted the unit without having to raise the price, which means it will have the same list value as its predecessor.
Made of stainless steel with toughened glass throughout for safety, the unit measures 710mm by 520mm and is equipped with precise thermostatic control to ensure accurate holding temperatures from 72°C to 95°C.
Nick McDonald, marketing director of Lincat, says it is ideal for fish and chip shops and other food service outlets that want to display hot pies and pasties in an economic way.
“As with all Lincat products, the new LPW/LR has been rigorously tested by our development chef, Paul Hickman. Customers can therefore be confident that our equipment will help them to operate within rigorous safety standards,” added McDonald.
The LPW/LR pie cabinet forms part of Lincat’s Seal range of food display equipment, which extends to almost 70 products including heated, refrigerated and ambient models.
