New brand identity for kitchen house CCE

Kitchen house Contract Catering Equipment (CCE) has unveiled a new corporate identity as it looks to build its profile in the catering market.

The Essex-based catering equipment distributor has overhauled its website and given its corporate logo a makeover as part of the investment.

The redesigned company logo now features two ‘Cs’ rippling away from a chef’s tasting spoon, supported by the tagline ‘Innovation, Craftmaship, Service’.

With more than 35 Michelin-starred restaurants on its customer base, CCE boss Ray Costelloe says it realises only too well the importance of presentation in building a reputation.

“Our clients are consummate innovators and perfectionists,” he said. “We thought it was time we followed their lead in creating a crisp new look. It was also an opportunity to introduce ourselves to a wider public, as most of our work comes through referrals.”

Costelloe started CCE back in 1987, bending sheet metal from a local workshop. The business now employs 40 staff and while it still retains its fabrication heritage it also specialises in design, supply and installation.

CCE worked with design specialists Simpsons Creative on the rebranding and the company’s managing director, Richard Taylor, said: “The new logo and website will rebrand CCE in line with the company it has become. It celebrates their rapid growth from a small, specialist company to one of the major service suppliers in the UK catering profession.”
