Nationwide Ventilation has developed its own range of protective screens, for bars, restaurants, reception, supermarket tills, and any other area require a physical barrier between two areas.

The manufacturer feels the new product will help to provide protection against Covid-19 and other airborne contaminants.

Director Robert Terry said: “We do standard sizes, but also as a fabrications facility we can make them for any size of shape, and 100% retrofit-able. They can be made to fit straight or curved sections of bar or till, with the frames manufactured from stainless steel, aluminium, brass or even powder-coated to a RAL colour.”

Nationwide Ventilation also believes that fast turnaround times are key to provide protection to members of staff.

The sneeze screen is constructed from 6mm-thick clear Acrylic Perspex sheets, with frames from stainless steel grade 304 with a satin polished finish.

Standard dimensions are 900mm wide and 750mm high, but other sizes can be made available on request. All corners carry a 5mm radius to avoid sharp corners.

The product comes with a 1 year warranty as standard.

The first set of screens came off the production line at the end of April and were sent to central London for installation in a shop.
