Chatham-based Nationwide Ventilation has just secured the employment of a new business development manager.
Stephen McMahon, who helped write the new lighting section in the revised DW172 Edition, started today, 23 July.
Formerly at competitor Halton, McMahon will now be responsible for developing leads into the consultant side of commercial kitchen ventilation for Nationwide Ventilation, but also growing the company’s existing client base through new catering equipment suppliers as well as promoting the Introzone brand of odour control system for commercial kitchens.
Nationwide Ventilation director Robert Terry said: “We are delighted to have Stephen heading up the new BDM position, as his industry knowledge matches our ambitious plan for growth over the next 5 years and developing new markets for us.”
McMahon himself commented: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Nationwide. I’ve always been impressed by the professionalism of approach and the quality of product when looking in from outside, and that impression has certainly been confirmed now I’m inside.
“I pride myself on developing strong customer relationships so I’m very much looking forward to getting out there and introducing clients to the fantastic product range, and being able to work with them to bring value to their projects.”
