Move made to resurrect fallen FCSI UK chapter


The UK and Ireland chapter of the FCSI could be re-formed within the coming weeks after it emerged that attempts are being made to resurrect it under new leadership.

The UK division folded at the end of 2015 after protracted negotiations over terms and conditions with the FCSI’s EAME regional body reached a dramatic conclusion.

At the time, the FCSI’s global division described the situation as “essentially an administrative change” and stressed that all FCSI members currently represented by UK&I will become “at large” members of EAME, with no lapse in status.

Consultants behind the move to create the local unit are promising a “new approach” and will hold a meeting on 18 February to consider what steps to take.
